Service Credit Union (SCU) was named the top auto lender in the New England/New York region and 10th nationally for 2017 by CU Direct. CU Direct works with auto dealers and credit unions throughout the U.S. to streamline the auto buying process.
Last year, the credit union funded more than 21,000 auto loans at approximately $545 million through the dealerships bringing SCU’s indirect auto loan portfolio to just shy of a billion dollars.
“We focus on access and convenience,” said Michael Douglas, Assistant Vice President of Indirect Lending at SCU. “My dedicated staff is willing to do what it takes to build relationships with our new and existing members and the auto dealerships.”
Douglas manages a team of 17, including 11 loan officers who specialize in consistent and timely dealer interactions, prompt decision-making and funding, and 24/7 availability.
