Skip Your Upcoming Vehicle or Personal Loan Payment

^*Applies only to eligible loans as described below. There is a fee of $35.00 for each payment you skip, which must be available in your account to qualify for Skip-A-Pay. Your skipped payment will be added to the end of your loan term, and normal interest charges will continue to accumulate and may extend maturity. Fee must be paid by member at time of skip request (cannot be added to loan balance). Your loan may not display as eligible until 9 days before your Due Date. Skipping a payment and late payment fees may reduce the amount of a Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) claim. Please refer to your GAP Policy for complete information. If you selected GAP, the coverage will not be extended beyond the original maturity date. All deferrals are subject to Service Credit Union approval. Eligibility requirements are as follows and all must be met to qualify for Skip-A-Payment: Loan(s) payments must be current or within the 15-day grace period. Loan(s) must have been open for at least 9 months and have 6 or more months of good payment history up until the due date being skipped. Minimum monthly payment must be at least $101. Loan(s) must be on a monthly payment frequency (semi-monthly and biweekly payments are not eligible to be skipped). Must have a valid address on file; if you have an invalid address on file with Service CU, you must provide updated information. Real estate loans, business loans, open-ended loans (including Visa Credit Cards and Lines of Credit) and specialty loans (including but not limited to payday alternative loans, relocation loans, community emergency loans, and energy loans) do not qualify. You may skip two non-consecutive payments on each eligible loan in a calendar year. A calendar year is defined as January through December. You must pay your prior months payment to become eligible for Skip-A-Payment. For example, you must pay your July payment before you can skip your August payment. You must manually stop payments set up by you from a bill pay system or through payroll deductions for the month you choose to skip and re-establish it again before the next scheduled payment is due. Membership and all loans must be in good standing to qualify for this promotion, which includes having at least $5 in your Primary Savings account. Other restrictions may apply.
