During this time of rapid change, we wanted to take a moment to let you know that the Service Credit Union team remains committed to serving you. To protect the well-being and safety of our members and staff during this time, we strongly encourage transacting with us through online and mobile banking.

Branch Updates

For the health and safety of our members and staff, we have made the decision to make the following changes to our branch availability:

Stateside:

Even though New Hampshire has implemented a stay-at-home order, our credit union remains an essential business and continues to be open to serve you.  While we have made the decision to close all of our stateside branch lobbies and in-store branch locations, all our banking services remain available at our drive-thrus. Overseas:

To limit person-to-person contact, overseas branch visits will be appointment only. Please visit servicecu.org/appointment if you’d like to schedule an appointment.

Please note our Stuttgart Panzer branch is now closed on Saturdays, and our KMCC branch is closed on Sundays.

Financial Assistance for Affected Members

Relief Loan: We are offering a Relief Loan at 2.99% APR* to help alleviate the financial burden of members during the pandemic. Existing and new members with direct deposit will be eligible for this rate, while new and existing members without direct deposit will have a rate of 4.99% APR*.

Skip-A-Pay: You may also choose to skip your upcoming auto or personal loan payment with us through April 30, at no fee.**

What We’re Doing to Ensure Your Safety and the Safety of Our Staff:

  • All locations have an enhanced cleaning process, including frequent wiping down of counters.
  • Members are encouraged to practice social distancing at branches, leaving 6 feet of space between them and others waiting in line.
  • We are asking members who are sick to transact with us by phone or digitally.

*To qualify for 2.99% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) you must be a current member with direct deposit already established or a new member that will establish direct deposit to a Service CU Account. Service CU must receive your first direct deposit within 60 days after loan funding or your rate will revert to a 4.99% APR. New members or existing members without direct deposit will qualify for the 4.99% APR. Minimum payment term of 7 months with a maximum payment term of 24 months. For example: 2.99% APR with 24 month term would result in payments of $43.20 per $1,000 borrowed. 4.99% APR with 24 month term would result in payments of $44.24 per $1,000 borrowed. Payment protection is not included in these figures. Qualification is based on creditworthiness. Must be a member of Service Credit Union or eligible for membership. Cannot be combined with any other offer.

**Applies only to eligible loans. Real Estate, Business Loans, Lines of Credit and Credit Cards are not eligible. If you have already received a deferment due to COVID-19 you are not eligible. Your skipped payment will be added to the end of your loan term, and normal interest charges will continue to accumulate and may extend maturity. Minimum monthly payment must be at least $101 to qualify for Skip-A-Payment. Skipping a payment and late payment fees may reduce the amount of a Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) claim. Please refer to your GAP Policy for complete information. If you selected GAP, the coverage will not be extended beyond the original maturity date. All deferrals are subject to Service Credit Union approval. Eligibility requirements associated with this offer must be met, not limited to your loan(s) being current (have no amount past due). Loans that have a term greater than 12 months, which have been open for at least 9 months, and have 6 or more months of good payment history up until the due date being skipped, are eligible for Skip-A-Payment. You may choose to skip one payment on each eligible loan in 04/2020. You must pay your prior months payment in order to become eligible for Skip-A-Payment. For example, you must pay your March payment before you can skip your payment in April. Both Borrower and Co-Borrower must agree to the request. Membership and all loans must be in good standing to qualify for promotion. Other restrictions may apply.
