IOLTA

Interest on Lawyer’s Trust Accounts (IOLTAs) are offered to attorneys and firms managing client fund trust accounts. Service Credit Union is recognized by the NH Bar Foundation as a Leadership Level partner for these accounts which exceed the institution’s standard account rate and waive routine service charges. The dividends earned on these accounts are remitted to the New Hampshire Bar Foundation on a monthly basis. Pasquale’s Ristorante

Chef Pasquale Celone approached SCU’s Business Services team in 2016 looking to finance a new home for his restaurant in Londonderry. In partnership with SCU, Pasquale secured a commercial real estate mortgage and an SBA 504 loan to achieve his vision. With the loans approved, and the purchase and build out complete in short order, the new Pasquale’s Restaurant opened to a packed house—every night of the week.

Dodge’s Farm and Garden

Liz and Keith came to SCU’s Business Services team in 2011 after feeling ignored and frustrated in prior business banking relationships. From the beginning, their experience with SCU has been very different. The Websters have now partnered with SCU to acquire a commercial real estate loan, a Business Visa® card and business auto loans. With three convenient NH locations, Liz and Keith continue to emphasize the expertise and personal service that have made Dodge’s Farm and Garden a local institution.

The Bedford Village Inn

Jack and Andrea have been SCU business members since 2015. They began their relationship with the credit union when looking for a partner to help them finance The Grand, a luxurious evolution of their existing property, the Bedford Village Inn. With a construction loan from SCU, the Carnevales completed the expansion before opening a second loan to support a complete renovation of the kitchen and dining area at the Inn. Guests continue to praise their “perfectly appointed accommodations” and the Inn’s ability to keep the hospitality experience fresh and elegant.

Mount Washington Auto Road

Mount Washington Auto Road General Manager Howie Wemyss approached SCU in mid-2016 in search of support for a grand vision of the new Glen House Hotel. With a commercial real estate loan, construction of the hotel began in Spring 2017. The new “four season destination” is scheduled to open in the fall of 2018 and will be as close to energy self-sufficient and carbon neutral as is currently practical.
