Please note designated signers will need written authorization from an authorized signer to receive a debit card.

What is the difference between an authorized signer and a designated signer?

An authorized signer has full authority over an account. They can open/close accounts, remove designated signers and update information on the account. This is typically an owner, LLC member, or a managing member of the business.

A designated signer has transactional authority only. They can only update their own personal information. They cannot open/close accounts, change signers or information on the business itself. These are typically employees of a business.

Service Credit Union only requires a $5 membership pledge to be deposited into your business savings account to establish membership.
How do I qualify for a business membership at Service Credit Union?

For a business to be eligible for membership, all owners of the business must be in Service Credit Union’s field of membership. If the owners do not meet these qualifications or the entity is a nonprofit organization, please submit a referral. A Cash Management Specialist will work with you to determine business membership eligibility.
