Since many European merchants don’t accept major credit and debit cards, V PAY offers a smart and secure way to shop. V PAY is accepted throughout much of the European Union and works just like a debit card.
Your V Pay card is valid for four years and has no foreign transaction fees.
- Transacts purchases in currencies accepted by V PAY networks.
- Order online or at any branch in Germany.
- Checking account required.
- Contactless (touch and go) payment capability – restrictions apply.*
To order your V PAY Card, log into your online banking and find our easy to use form under the “More” menu option.
Please note that your V PAY card must be recycled, per the directive 2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment).
* A fee will be assessed for the initial card issuance and the funds must be available in the checking account at the time the card is ordered. Other fees may apply. See the V PAY Fee Schedule and V PAY Card Disclosure, Terms and Conditions for more information. The V PAY card is tied to your checking account and allows you to access your available balance. Automatic weekly limit of 1,000.00 Euros. Contactless payment transactions may only be completed for individual transactions under €50. Upon accumulating €150 of contactless payment transactions, a PIN entry will be required to reset the contactless limit cycle.
