Jaime Yates Named Assistant Vice President of Community Development at Service Credit Union

Jaime Yates

Service Credit Union is excited to announce that Jaime Yates, most recently community relations manager at Service CU, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Community Development.

In this role, Yates will be responsible for leading the credit union’s community development and financial wellness strategy, including fostering relationships with community leaders and overseeing major sponsorships and marketing initiatives. She joined the credit union in 2016 as a member services representative in the contact center and moved to the marketing department in 2018 as a community relations coordinator. In 2020, she was named community relations manager.

Yates has a master’s in communication from SNHU and serves on the board of directors for the Seacoast Chapter of Veterans Count and the Portsmouth Music and Arts Center. She also sits on the NH Social Responsibility Committee for the CCUA, is an advisor for Step Up Parents, and serves on various planning committees for nonprofit events. In 2023, she received the Woman of the Year award in the Large Business category through the Portsmouth Chamber Collaborative and NH Women’s League, and in 2022 was named one of the 10 to Watch young professionals on the Seacoast of NH.  She was also recently chosen to attend the Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, DC, where she will represent NH and advocate for credit unions on Capitol Hill.

Stepping into the role of Community Relations Manager is Sean Hladick, who was most recently community relations specialist. Hladick has been with the credit union since December 2020, and has been a vital part of the credit union’s community giving efforts ever since, overseeing signature programs such as Project Elf, which supports locally owned businesses to bring holiday toys to children in need, and Stay Warm, which provides nonprofits around the state of New Hampshire with cold-weather essentials to distribute to those who need them.

“Supporting the communities that we serve is the core of who we are as a credit union and thanks to the vision of Jaime and Sean, Service Credit Union does it very well. Both promotions are well deserved, and I am very excited to see where we go next under their leadership,” said Tyler Kuhn, VP-Marketing and Digital Strategy at Service Credit Union.
