Service Credit Union is proud to be among the credit unions named as winners of the prestigious Diamond Awards, the Marketing & Business Development Council of America’s Credit Union’s annual marketing excellence competition.

Service CU was recognized in the following categories: Complete Campaign, Non-Commercial Video, and Partnership, Endorsement or NIL.

In the Complete Campaign category, Service CU was recognized for its “Service for Every Season” product marketing series. Now in its second year, Service CU’s “Project Elf” donation effort won in the category of Non-Commercial Video, after picking up a 2023 Diamond Award for One Time Event. This year, Service CU won for its video spotlight on the project, which sees our staff purchasing toys from independently owned stores throughout New Hampshire and donating them to the NH State Police’s Toys for Tots effort. Last but not least, the Endorsement Diamond was received for Service CU’s 73 Reasons Campaign, in partnership with Boston Defender Charlie McAvoy. 73 Reasons highlights the need for first responders to receive crucial cancer and heart disease screenings, with Service CU pledging a donation of $100 toward the cause for every Boston blocked shot, and $1,000 for every shutout, for a total pledge up to $200,000.

Credit unions, advertising agencies, and associations submitted a record 1,451 submissions for the prestigious awards. In all, 168 organizations from 44 states and the District of Columbia were selected as winners.

“We are absolutely delighted to honor Service Credit Union and the other winners with this level of recognition,” said Lesli Bishop, Diamond Awards chair and Chief Marketing Officer at Family Savings Credit Union in Gadsden, Ala. “It’s evident that these credit unions not only embody the spirit of the credit union movement but also propel it forward with their innovative approaches.”

This year’s Diamond Awards marked a milestone, celebrating 30 years of excellence in credit union marketing and setting a new record with over 350 awards distributed, underscoring the exceptional quality of marketing work being produced by credit unions nationwide.
