Consolidate Your Credit Card Balance With Our 0% APR Promotional Rate*

Take advantage of a promotional 0% APR* on all balance transfers and cash advances to your Service Credit Union credit card.  

That means you can consolidate your bills to one card, and enjoy all the benefits that come with using our suite of Everyday cards, including 1.5 points on all purchases with the Visa Signature Everyday Elite card.

(Please note, a 1% transaction fee will be applied to each balance transfer or cash advance.)

Existing Card Holders 

You have until March 6th, 2025 to transfer your balance and an additional three billing cycles to pay your balance at the promotional 0% APR.* After March 6th, your rate on new purchases and transfers will revert back to your current variable rate.

Don’t Have a Service CU Credit Card? 

To take advantage of this offer, apply for a Service CU Visa Everyday card, or our Signature Everyday Elite card. 

If you are approved, you will then have three billing cycles to add charges, and an additional four billing cycles to pay off your balance.** 

Take the following steps to successfully complete your balance transfer. 

How to Transfer Your Credit Card Balance 

Have Online Banking or the Mobile App?

1. Make sure you are signed up for online banking. 

1. Log in to online banking and select “Transfer Funds> Scheduled and One Time Transfers” (or “Make a transfer” in the mobile app). 

2. From there, select your Service CU credit card as the “from” account and select your Service CU checking or savings account as the “to” account to transfer the amount you would like to pay down on your other credit card. 

3. Use the funds you’ve moved from your Service CU credit card to pay down your credit card from a different institution using one of the options below: 

  • Log in to your other credit card issuer’s site and pay down the balance using the Service CU account where you moved the funds 
  • Use Service CU online Bill Pay to pay your other credit card 
  • Mail a check to your credit card issuer from your Service CU checking account (if applicable)

 *APR= Annual Percentage Rate. Existing cardholders can enjoy a promotional 0% APR on all balance transfers and cash advances made December 7, 2024, to March 6, 2025. A 1% transaction fee will be applied to each transfer or advance. Balances will remain at 0% for three billing cycles. After this period, on March 7, 2025, the rate on any remaining promotional balance will revert back to your current rate. This rate is variable and subject to change with the WSJ Prime Rate. Any existing balances on your card from before the start of this promotional period will still be charged your current rate. This promotional offer is available to members of Service CU in good standing. Other terms and conditions may apply. 

** New cardholders can enjoy an intro 0% APR on all balance transfers and cash advances for the first 3 billing cycles. A 1% transaction fee will be applied to each transfer or advance. Balances will remain at 0% for an additional three billing cycles. After this period, the rate on any remaining intro balance will revert back to your current rate.
