Educational benefits that keep you informed

Reaching your financial goals requires knowledge and skills. Without an understanding of financial topics and terms, it can be challenging to make informed decisions about how best to reach your goals. Service Credit Union helps expand your financial knowledge with webinars, courses and programs to keep you learning.

In addition to educational opportunities for adults, we also offer programs for kids and teens. These programs help young people establish a strong financial literacy foundation they can build on as they grow.

Webinars

Check back often for updates and live webinar registration information.

CU 4 Reality

Through our reality fair program, CU 4 Reality, we partner with local schools to educate junior high and high school students about personal finance, savings and credit.

At our interactive reality fair events, students select a profession and research its typical entry-level salary, then learn how far that money goes in real life. With the goal of staying within a monthly budget, students work with credit union volunteers to make simulated spending decisions about housing, transportation, utilities and entertainment.

Youth Programs

Start healthy financial habits early with our programs for students and children. We offer student checking accounts for those ages 13 to 25. We also offer student loans. Our Youth Club Program encourages kids to learn the value of saving.
